Wall Stories: 20 Years of Street Art offers a visual and thematic journey through two decades of street art, from its early years to the large-scale murals of today that define cityscapes around the world. The book follows the work of Studio Giftig, the duo Niels van Swaemen and Kaspar van Leek, two-time winners of the “Best Mural in the World” title awarded by Street Art Cities, the largest international platform for street art. In addition to an overview of iconic murals, this book offers a rare glimpse into the creative process: from initial sketches and concept development to technical execution and realization on a monumental scale. It also places the development of street art in a broader context: how an art form that was once illegal and marginalized has grown into a recognized and influential visual language in public spaces. A fully illustrated document chronicling 20 years of visual impact, urban transformation, and artistic evolution.
